Here's how to change the filter.

Open lid.
Twist cap open, flip bottle open.

Twist & pull apart.
Pull out inner bottle, expose filter element.

Unscrew the filter element.
Remove old cartridge — turn counter-clockwise.

“The lettering was no longer nice after just one week of use (see photos). By now (2 weeks in Madeira) it is no longer visible at all. The bottle is also very prone to scratches and the "rubber" behind the lid has small cracks. I really expected more for the price. I only drank from sources 3 times and had no problems with the water. The purpose was at least fulfilled.”

When do I need to replace the XL filter?
After a maximum of 1,500 liters of filter capacity – approx. 2,000 applications (XL has 800 ml more volume per application than the standard filter with 500 ml / 2,500 applications).
Does the XL replacement filter fit the standard Selfpress?
No — XL only for Selfpress XL (800 ml). For the standard Selfpress (500 ml), you need the replacement filter without the XL additive.
How long will the XL replacement filter be available?
As long as we have stock — guaranteed for at least the next season. After that, we'll check with the remaining XL buyers. Existing customers take priority.
What if I want to switch to a standard plan?
Write to us briefly. We will help you with the switch and find a fair solution - sometimes with an exchange offer for standard Bachgold.
